Lyons, NE - A free workshop "Successful Business in Tough Times" will be presented in Broken Bow at the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce Board Room on Tuesday, March 31 at 7:00 p.m. UNK Professor of Business & Technology, Dave Moffett, will present "Weathering the Recession: Tips for Small Businesses" and Dena Beck, Center for Rural Affairs' Rural Enterprise Assistance Project (REAP) Business Specialist, will present on "Generational Differences."
"Learning about generational differences can be helpful whether you are trying to attract or retain a generation in your community or have a successful multigenerational workplace," commented Beck. "I am pleased to have Dave from UNK presenting as well.  Recession proofing tips are something Custer County businesses can use along with information about the many services of UNK that are available to rural businesses."
