The Center for Rural Affairs and LB Custom Chrome and Detail are sponsoring a social hour and community roundtable discussion on March 13 at the LB Custom Chrome shop on 1335 South B St, Broken Bow, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
"At the Center, we believe that the solutions to the challenges our rural communities face will be found on farms, ranches and rural mainstreets, not in Washington or on Wall Street," commented John Crabtree of Center for Rural Affairs.  "That is why we want to hear from you.  We want to hear about the challenges that Broken Bow, Custer County and the surrounding region face and, more importantly, the solutions that you see on the horizon," continued Crabtree.

The Center encourages everyone to attend the reception and roundtable to find out more about the Center for Rural Affairs, exchange ideas about revitalizing rural mainstreets and strengthening family farms and ranches.  "And to have a little fun," added Crabtree.

The discussion is open to everyone and light refreshments will be provided.

The host, LarryHarbour, proprietor of LB Custom Chrome and Detail is the recipient of the 2009 Nebraska Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Center for Rural Affairs. At the event participants can also learn more about Larry's experience moving from Omaha to rural Nebraska and eventually starting his own business.
