Entrepreneur and Cooperative Business Development Workshop

LYONS, NE – Extension Educators, RC&D Coordinators, Economic Developers, Educators, and Resource Providers have an opportunity to attend the Entrepreneur and Cooperative Business Development Workshop.

The program highlights best practices in business planning, business feasibility, market analysis and marketing.  Speaking on the importance of entrepreneurial development in Nebraska include, Chuck Hassebrook, Dr. Randy Cantrell, Dr. Eric Thompson and many others.
The workshop will be held on November 13 at the Ramada Inn & Conference Center located at 301 2nd Avenue, Kearney, Nebraska. The program starts at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m. (Central Time). 
"It's up to us to take control of our future in rural America and entrepreneurship is the way to do it," commented Chuck Hassebrook, Executive Director of the Center for Rural Affairs and opening speaker for that day.
Dena Beck with the Center for Rural Affair's Rural Enterprise Assistance Project will be a part of the panel discussion at the end of the day. Dena will be joined by the USDA Rural Development, and Nebraska Business Development Center discussing resources available through their departments for clients such as grants, loans, development services, etc. 
Beck commented, "There are a lot of resources out there; the fortunate thing is there are service providers out there to make sure business owners and communities have the right fit."
