Burwell, Neb. — Entrepreneurs are invited to learn about online marketing and social media tools during “LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter for Biz,” a free workshop organized by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center in collaboration with the Burwell Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau, and GROW Nebraska.

The workshop will be held Monday, March 26, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Burwell Junior-Senior High School, high school library, 190 I St., in Burwell, Nebraska.

Building an online presence for businesses using social media marketing will be the main topic of this session. A presentation and discussion will focus on each social media platform – LinkedIn from 5 to 6 p.m.; Facebook from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m.; and Twitter from 8 to 9 p.m. Attendees have the option to sign up for one, two, or all three sessions.

“It’s important to know where your customers are most active, and then you need to be comfortable reaching out to them via that platform," said Monica Braun, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “These sessions will enhance business owners’ knowledge of the various social media sites.”
