Lyons, Neb. - Holdrege, Nebraska - Small business owners are invited to learn about “Online Marketing Strategies,” on Thursday, Feb. 15, from 6 to 9 p.m., at AgWest, 415 West Fourth Street, (northeast entrance), in Holdrege, Nebraska.

This free event is organized by the Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center in collaboration with Phelps County Economic Development, Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce, and South Central Economic Development District.

“Online Marketing Strategies” focuses on building online relationships using websites, email marketing, and social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

“Many small business owners get caught up trying to use social media, but then forget the basic necessity of having a broader online presence," said Monica Braun, Center for Rural Affairs Women’s Business Center director. “Eighty-one percent of shoppers conduct online searches before buying. This session will help potential clients see only the best of your business in those searches.”
