First Central Bank loan production office receives REAP Extra Mile Award

Lyons, NE - The lending staff of First Central Bank Loan Production Office in Curtis have proved they go the extra mile in their professions by receiving the Center for Rural Affairs Extra Mile Award. The organization was recognized for their efforts and presented the award at a special awards banquet held in Columbus on March 11.

“The First Central Bank Loan Production Office of Curtis are great partners of the Center and other resource providers in southwest Nebraska,” said Dena Beck, Center for Rural Affairs loan specialist.
 
According to Beck, Gilbert Larson, Peggy Fritsche, & Byron Brown have worked with the Center over the years to meet the needs of the community.
 
“Gilbert and crew go above and beyond to make deals happen to sustain and grow their community," said Beck. "They work with the entrepreneurs, the local revolving loan fund, as well as SBA loan guaranty to put deals together.”
 
The Extra Mile Award is given annually to a person or organization that have demonstrated outstanding support for the Center and exceptional dedication to small business development in rural Nebraska.
