Local Business Tour to Highlight Columbus’s Vibrant Community
Lyons, NE - Columbus’s vibrant community will have the opportunity to showcase their thriving small businesses during a tour of local businesses on October 15.
The tour is a celebration of Columbus’ diversity, will promote cooperation and inclusion, and further strengthen the city’s role as a welcoming community.
The tour will begin at El Tapatio on Tuesday, October 15 at 5:30 pm. Entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds representing eight local businesses will be featured during the tour, inviting local residents to hear the story of their business, sample products, and learn about high quality goods and services offered in Columbus.
Local organizations and leaders, alongside Nebraska Appleseed and the Center for Rural Affairs, have come together to make this event possible.
“We have really been impressed with the voluntary leadership from the community which is making this tour possible," said Adele Phillips with the Center for Rural Affairs. "Similarly, we greatly appreciate the local entrepreneurs who are going the extra mile to welcome this tour to their businesses and give tour-goers a behind-the-scenes perspective."
