Attend the Nebraska Renewable Energy Fair

The Nebraska Energy Fair is coming to Lyons, Nebraska, on July 23 and 24. We have a lot planned and believe the fair will appeal to everyone, so please plan to join us.

The fair includes a day-long bus tour on Friday, July 23 where you can observe renewable energy practices in action. Seating is limited, so register today ($10 before July 3, $25 after). Registration for the bus tour closes on July 16.

Saturday, July 24, features breakout sessions and exhibits throughout the day. Tracks include Policy and Support, Small Wind, Big Wind, Conservation and Alternatives, Solar and Biomass. There is no fee to attend Saturday’s sessions, but we ask that you pre-register to ensure availability of registration materials at check-in.

Lots of other fun things are scheduled for Saturday, including a lunch at Happy Days Senior Center from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. featuring local foods. Deb Ward will help individuals Renew their Inner Energy with introductory Yoga.

The Energy Fair officially ends at 5:00 p.m., but we invite you to stick around and enjoy the evening’s festivities. A street dance from 8:30 p.m. to midnight hosted by the Fallout Bar & Grill features the musical group Off the Grid. We are working to literally take them off the grid for their performance that evening.
