Development Matters: Springtime

This is my favorite time of year. Heading out to plant trees and get the garden ready is a spring rite across much of the country.

Coming from a farming background, spring always holds such promise to me. Plant the seeds, do the work, and in the end you will get a good harvest.

In development, we are always starting that spring work again. With our donors, we are planting seeds and doing the work so that things will be done for Rural America. Your help is needed to make sure whether it is farm structure, rural development, health care, sustainability or the many areas of policy, we will be there to get things done.

There are many ways to be part of this spring work. Your annual gift renews your newsletter and makes cultivating these rural interests so much more productive. A planned gift can ensure longevity and build support for new activities.

If I can assist in making the Center a part of your planning or giving, let me know. Call Matt Connealy at 402.687.2103 x 1009 or email mattc@cfra.org.
