Center Welcomes New Faces
This month the Center for Rural Affairs welcomes two new interns – Angel Romero Kiester and Adele Phillips.
You may recognize Angel from the cover of the October Newsletter. After feeding residents of Lyons for the past year, Angel closed the doors of Cravings Cafe and has come to work on our health care campaign within the Rural Organizing and Outreach Program.
Adele is a Nebraska native and moved back from Boston after graduating from MIT with her master’s degree in landscape architecture. She will be working with the Rural Opportunities and Stewardship Program on a community garden project.
Welcome to the Center family Angel and Adele!
