If you are anything like me, the end of the year comes very quickly. Farmers are struggling to finish harvest. Ranchers are preparing for a long winter. Here comes the holiday season with Thanksgiving and Christmas, and before I know it the year is over. Preparing for year-end financial work comes upon us all too quickly.

As you make year-end plans, think about the charitable contributions you might want to work into this year. Please keep the Center for Rural Affairs and our work to support rural America in mind. You can make your tax deductible gift to the Center for our ongoing budget or you can put it into the Granary Endowment. The Granary lets your gift keep on giving for years to come.

It is so important to have an independent base of funding for the Center. It allows us to match federal funds and grant funds and do even more with your help. Have a great holiday season, and do not forget the Center for Rural Affairs.
