The Center for Rural Affairs welcomes Virginia Wolking as our newest rural policy organizer. We also welcome rural research intern Julia Hudson.

Before coming to the Center, Virginia worked on a ranch in rural Wyoming as well as at the White Earth Land Recovery Project in Northwest Minnesota. Virginia studied environmental science and sustainable agriculture at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina. At the Center she will work on health care, rural development and farm policy issues.

Julia is a recent graduate of Creighton University with a major in Sociology and an emphasis in global health issues. She will be focusing on food systems and health care. She comes to us from Indiana.
