Community Food Enterprise: Local Success in a Global Marketplace is a new joint funding venture between the Gates and Kellogg Foundations in support of local food. The Wallace Center at Winrock International, in partnership with the Training & Development Corporation, have set out to find, analyze, and present 24 diverse models of community owned food enterprises from around the world.

A goal of the first phase of research is to publish a book of case studies and highlight and build the case for the role of local food enterprises in strengthening local, sustainable economies. Staff at the Community Food Enterprise Initiative asked us to help publicize the call for submissions to our readers.
