Development Matters: You Did It!
You did it. We tried something new last month, and it worked, because so many of you took up the challenge of raising $15,000 by May 15th to support the fight for the future of rural America.
Contributions ranged from $5 to $500. Most gave $15 or $30. Many donated for the first time. In total, 333 people took up the challenge. We will not soon forget this campaign or your efforts to reach this goal.
You contributed more online in one month than ever before, 10 times as much as in any previous month. One donor generously offered $500, to be collected if matched within 72 hours – you did it in less than 24 hours. And donors contacted us about sustaining donations and endowment donations.
