McClure is REAP Friend of the Year

Glennis McClure, of Beatrice, Nebraska, was chosen as the Center for Rural Affairs’ Rural Enterprise Assistance Project (REAP) 2016 Friend of the Year. She was recognized at an award ceremony on March 10 in York, Nebraska.

The REAP Friend of the Year Award is presented annually to an individual, organization, or institution that provides invaluable service to entrepreneurs by assisting REAP staff in offering technical assistance, business training, loans, and networking across rural Nebraska.

Women's Business Center Update: Fourth annual conference incorporates insight, inspiration, and growth

Women business owners gathered in Grand Island on April 12 for a Women Entrepreneur Conference hosted by the Women’s Business Center and the Nebraska District Office of the Small Business Administration. 

Women business owners were inspired and encouraged by the speakers, panelists, and the networking opportunity.

The Women’s Business Center continues with training opportunities across Nebraska.
