Janelle Moran recently reached the 10-year mark in working for the Center for Rural Affairs as the Southeast Nebraska REAP Loan Specialist in the REAP program. Janelle has done an outstanding job in implementing REAP services in southeast Nebraska over the past 10 years.
Highlights of Janelle's work include lending close to $2 million in REAP loans and leveraging over $3 million in loans from other sources. Janelle's work with startup and existing small businesses in southeast Nebraska has resulted in over 500 jobs being created and/or retained.
Jeff Reynolds, Director of the REAP program at the Center for Rural Affairs, put it this way, “Janelle's work in southeast Nebraska has been exemplary and is helping the Center for Rural Affairs - REAP program meet its mission of strengthening rural communities through the development of small businesses and self-employment in rural and small town Nebraska.
Over the years, Janelle says she has become intimately familiar with the highways of southeastern Nebraska. “Many days you’ll find me on the road visiting with individuals who want to start a small business. Everyday is different, and I love that about my work. It’s a pleasure to help entrepreneurs with growing their businesses.”
