Women's Business Centers Form a National Network to Serve Women

The programs of Women’s Business Centers (WBC) are built around the goals of women entrepreneurs. WBCs help women succeed in business by providing business training, mentoring, and access to capital to nearly 200,000 entrepreneurs annually. The need and potential impact can’t be over stated. Women are projected to create over half of the 9.72 million small business jobs expected by 2018, according to Forbes.

Whether a woman has decided to start a business, or has been in business for years, WBCs provide critical resources to help women entrepreneurs succeed.  The centers provide a safe and supportive learning environment in which women are able to acquire both the skills and the confidence they need to succeed in business.

More than 100 WBCs offer counseling and business training to women in business in all 50 states. The WBC at the Rural Enterprise Assistance Project has been a proud serving the women of Nebraska as part of the WBC Program since 2001.

The REAP WBC is a center without "walls." We have business specialists located across Nebraska, specializing in outreach and training for rural women entrepreneurs. We are excited to offer a full slate of online training opportunities. Find out more about the REAP WBC here.
