Rapid Lending Pace: Good News for the Rural Economy!

Have you felt the buzz of entrepreneurship in your neighborhood? It is reverberating through the Center for Rural Affairs Lyons office as REAP staff are breaking all records.

As we head into the final month of this quarter (April, May, and June), our Loan Specialists have made 35 loans totaling $440,250. It's a sure sign Nebraska entrepreneurs are building and growing their businesses and the rural economy!

The big question: Can we reach the 50 mark before the end of June?

Jeff Reynolds, REAP Director, thinks so! He credits the hard work of the staff for their dedication to helping entrepreneurs with financing and with technical assistance and training. "Through teamwork, respecting each other, and working for a common goal, anything is possible. REAP staff prove this every day."

These dollars go back to work on main street and in our small towns and rural communities.
