Women Caring for the Land - Council Bluffs, IA

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Women who live in the Council Bluffs area and own or manage farmland are invited to a conservation discussion focused on soil health and conservation practices.

Maintaining healthy soil is the key to productivity and environmental health for our farmland. Women landowners who attend this meeting will learn to assess and improve the health of their soil. There is no obligation to pursue any new management style.

Who: Women non-operator owners who own more than 40 acres, may have inherited farmland, or are feeling overwhelmed with all of the decisions of farmland management will find this event especially helpful.

When: Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. OR 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Bayliss Hall
            530 First Ave.
            Council Bluffs, IA

The cost of the workshop is $10 and includes a light lunch or small plate dinner.

Space is limited (sorry, no walk-ins). To register before noon on March 14, contact Carol Schutte at carol@wfan.org or 641.430.2540 or register online here
