    Iowa State University is hosting this event, which includes sessions on Transitioning to Organic Farming, Organic Vegetable Production, Marketing Organic Products, Making the Farm Bill Work for You, Surviving the Floods, and Marketing in an Ethanol World. Local and organic foods will be highlighted with an all-day trade show and organic lunch.

    The Third Annual MarketPlace conference will be held at the Sandhills Convention Center in North Platte, Nebraska. This event, presented by the Center for Rural Affairs and our partners, is focused on strengthening small businesses and rural communities.

    The Food Processing Center at the University of Nebraska welcomes entrepreneurs from throughout the U.S. to any of their From Recipe to Reality seminars, a one-day seminar that provides entrepreneurs with an understanding of the key factors that need to be considered when starting a food manufacturing business. Materials are now available in Spanish.
