“Answering the Call” will provide veteran farmers an avenue to network, and an opportunity to discover resources and services that are readily available to them.
 

Who: Military veterans who are currently farming or want to start

Where: Seward Civic Center

8:00 a.m. Registration and networking

9:00 a.m. Welcome 

9:30 a.m. USDA Farm Service Agency 

10:15 a.m. Breakout session panels on financial resources and land access

12:00 p.m. Board the bus

12:20 p.m. Lunch and tour of Ficke Cattle Ranch

2:30 p.m. Tour of Shadow Brook Farms

3:30 p.m. Board the bus and travel back to Seward Civic Center

4:00 p.m. Close
