Center for Rural Affairs Welcomes Griselda Rendon
Lyons, NE - The Center for Rural Affairs and the Rural Enterprise Assistance Project (REAP) welcomes Griselda Rendon as a REAP Latino Business Center Loan Specialist for the Southwest/Central and Southeast Region of Nebraska.
Griselda is a native of Mexico, who moved to the United States with her parents at an early age and graduated from Lexington Senior High. Griselda attended Central Community College, Bellevue University and Grand Island College. She currently resides in Grand Island with her family.
Griselda has previous experience in insurance, banking and preparing and facilitating presentations for different ethnics groups.
“REAP Latino Business Center is excited to have Griselda in our staff,” commented Juan Sandoval, REAP Latino Business Center. “We were lucky to find Griselda since her education and work experience will make her an excellent technical assistance provider as well as creating and packaging loans for REAP, financial institutions or other programs in the area.”
According to Sandoval, “Griselda will be covering a large territory and will work mostly with Latino small business owners in her region. There is no doubt that she will play an important role in the growth of the REAP Latino Business Center since she will be working in communities with a large presence of Latino Individuals such as Grand Island, Hastings, Crete, Lexington, Imperial and Gibbon just to mention a few.”
