Small Business owners must compete and succeed in a rapidly changing environment. REAP can help! With the largest statewide rural program in the nation, we operate Nebraska's first and only Women's Business Center and the Latino Business Center.

What Is REAP
The Rural Enterprise Assistance Program focuses on small business development. REAP consists of four elements including: networking, business management training, credit (micro-loans) and technical assistance.

REAP Staff
REAP staff are located across Nebraska to provide full service to Nebraska's rural micro entrepreneurs. Each Loan Specialist serves one of 4 regions across the state. We also have 3 bilingual staff members.

Mission & History
REAP was started by the Center for Rural Affairs in 1990 to meet the needs of the self-employed in the rural Midwest. Center studies in the late 1980’s showed a high rate of self-employment in rural areas, but no economic development strategies to help this sector.

REAP Member Directory
This directory represents a sampling of REAP member businesses. It runs the gamut of product and service businesses in rural Nebraska. A solid small business sector is essential to a healthy and vibrant rural community. The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in Nebraska.
